We are planning to add information on current issues, projects and oceano science. Some of the ‘big picture’ stuff we can’t cover in the magazine.

An Australian overview of the ocean environment of each state  will include,  

• basic ocean science information
• exciting projects happening in each State,
• critters – fish, seabird and shorebirds, invertebrates (benthic, rock pools and sub-tidal), pelagic life(squids, plankton), mammals, coastal plants (coastal&fungi, seaweeds&seagrass), a key to understanding and recognising all this local marine life.
• local issues – development & pollution, climate change, MPAs, fishing damage, aquaculture, biodiversity, lack of knowledge, pests
